Community standards

Leave the sky kinder than you found it.

Constella is for curiosity, wonder and connection. These rules apply to profiles, notes, star names, postcards and every other community surface.

Tools in the app

Filtering: Constella rejects plainly objectionable text before it is posted. No automated filter is perfect, so reporting remains essential.

Report: Use Report beside a note, profile, star name or postcard. Reports are private and go to the moderation queue. Three independent open reports automatically hide a note while it awaits review.

Block: Open an account’s profile and choose Block account. You stop seeing each other’s profiles and community activity, and any friendship is removed. Manage blocked accounts under You → Account & safety.

If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Constella’s reporting tools are not an emergency service.

How moderation works

We prioritize safety reports and review them promptly, considering context, severity, history and the audience of the content. Actions can include no action, a warning, content removal, feature restrictions, suspension, termination and preservation or disclosure where legally required.

We may act on behavior outside the app when it credibly threatens people in Constella. We may also remove content that creates significant safety or legal risk even if it is not listed word-for-word above.

To appeal a moderation decision or report a concern you cannot reach in the app, email info@quieteyegroup.com with “Constella safety” in the subject. Include your handle and enough context to locate the issue, but do not resend illegal or exploitative media.
